Ahh the aromas of tourtieres, spiced nuts and the freshly cut Christmas tree…. it’s beginning to smell a lot like the holidays. In between the nog, mulled wine and other excesses it was the kale that spoke to me at the grocery store. First it was such a large abundant bunch that as soon as I picked it up it reminded of a wedding bouquet, not mine but maybe some cute little granola head somewhere…..and so I was inspired to make my massaged Caesar kale salad. It would be just the right counterpoint to the savoury meat pie and braised red cabbage. YUM and pass the nog!!!
